OPERATING PRINCIPLE
The DNO nitrate nitrogen analyzer utilizes an ion-selective elec- trode(ISE)equipped with a selective membrane that allows spe- cific ions to pass through. Combined with an internal electrolyte solution,the electrode forms a composite electrochemical cell that generates a potential corresponding to the target ion concentra- tion.When used with a reference electrode,the system measures the millivolt(mV)signal,which is converted to ion concentration via an internal calculation algorithm.
