Operational Principle

The SLDL53-40 Soltascan3D Radar Level and Volume Measurement Instrument utilizes terahertz radar waves to perform a 360° high-resolution spatial scanning. By employing a phased-array scanning technology, it supports the coordinated operation of up to 255 devices. Integrating technologies such as point cloud stitching, AI, machine learning, and 3D modeling, the device transmits the scanned data to an edge server, where dedicated algorithms are used for data processing, precise fitting, and noise removal. This enables the rapid and accurate acquisition of three-dimensional material information and the generation of visualized 3D images. Additionally, the system calculates parameters such as material level, volume, and weight, and shares these measurement results via the Industrial IoT, allowing simultaneous access across multiple terminals; the DCS can directly retrieve the measurement results and 3D visualizations.
