Coriolis density meters, also known as mass flowmeters or inertial flowmeters, operate on the principle of vibration and measure the phase shift in the vibration of a bent thin-walled tube. A bent thin-walled tube rotates around a central axis. If there is no mass in the bend, the tube will remain untwisted. Pay attention to keep the density meter clean. You can use a wet towel dipped in detergent and wring it out before wiping it. Do not let liquid flow or splash into the interior of the instrument, and do not use organic solvents to wipe the density meter.
