1. The propagation speed of ultrasonic waves in gas is affected by the gas temperature. Therefore, when the level meter is working, it is necessary to detect the gas temperature and compensate for the sound speed to ensure measurement accuracy. When the level meter emits ultrasonic pulses, it cannot detect the reflected echo at the same time. Since the emitted ultrasonic pulse has a certain time width, and the sensor still has residual vibration after the ultrasonic wave is emitted, the reflected echo cannot be detected during this period. Therefore, a short distance starting from the probe surface downward cannot be detected normally. This distance is called the blind zone. If the highest measured material level enters the blind zone, the instrument will not be able to detect it correctly and errors will occur. If necessary, the level meter can be installed at a higher height.

2. After the equipment is installed, it must be grounded independently and not with the common ground of the electrical box or instrument box.

3. Recommendation: When the ultrasonic level meter is connected to interference-prone equipment such as frequency converters and PLCs, an isolation transformer must be added to the power supply part, a signal isolator must be added to the signal part, and reliable grounding must be done.

4. Signal wires cannot be placed in the same wire trough as power wires and power wires. They must be installed separately through metal pipes, or installed far away from power wires and power wires. If there is no pipe installation, the signal wires must be installed at a distance from the power wires and power wires. The distance is at least 1 meter.
