1. Product Overview

SLDL5400 Series RadioDetect Microwave Level Switch is a non-contact level detection instrument developed by SOLIDAT for harsh industrial conditions. Composed of a transmitter and a receiver, it adopts 24GHz high-frequency microwave technology, which can penetrate dust, build-up, scaling and steam to stably monitor point level, blockage detection and safety alarm of solid materials such as powder, granular and bulk materials. It is widely suitable for harsh environments such as high temperature, high dust and strong corrosion, and is a reliable level limit control solution for calcium carbide, coke dry quenching, mining, building materials and other fields.

 

2. Working Principle

SLDL5400 series microwave level switch consists of a transmitter and a receiver installed face-to-face. The transmitter continuously emits 24GHz microwave signals. When materials block the microwave transmission path, the receiver signal is interrupted and an alarm is output immediately. Microwave has strong penetrability, easily penetrating dust, paper scraps and scaling on the sensor surface without cleaning, fundamentally solving the problems of material build-up, jamming and false alarms of traditional contact instruments.
