OPERATING PRINCIPLE
The SLDL2560 Ultrasonic Sludge Level sensor submerged in water emits a beam of ultrasonic pulses toward the tank bottom. As the sound waves travel downward,they are reflected by suspended or settled sludge layers.The reflected signal strength varies depending on the density of the sludge.By detecting the time and strength of the returning echoes,the analyzer determines the depth or thickness of the sludge blanket after signal processing.
