The incident light transmittance of the SLDW3310 series suspended solids (sludge) concentration meter is inversely proportional to the suspended solids concentration in the water sample. The meter emits infrared light into the water sample, and after absorption, reflection, and scattering by suspended particles, only a small amount of transmitted light is captured by the detector. The transmittance is converted into suspended solids concentration using the Lambert-Beer formula. Unlike single-beam methods, which are susceptible to contamination of the optical window, Tianjian Innovation's multi-beam compensation method uses dual transmitters and receivers to generate multi-beam data. By comparing and calculating this data, it automatically eliminates interference from optical window contamination, temperature variations, and component aging, achieving stable and precise measurements.
