OPERATING PRINCIPLE
The infrared light emitted by the light source is absorbed,reflected, and scattered as it passes through the measured medium.Within a certain range,the intensity of the scattered light is proportional to turbidity or suspended solids concentration.Based on this princi-
ple,the TSS sensor is equipped with two sets of detectors at 135°
and 90°angles.By analyzing the intensity of the received scattered light,the instrument calculates turbidity or suspended solids con- centration.
