OPERATING PRINCIPLE
The pH analyzer operates using a glass electrode immersed in solution.Due to the difference in hydrogen ion concentrationsinside and outside the electrode,an ultra-thin hydrated layer forms on both surfaces of the glass bulb.The activit difference of hydrogen ions on these two layers generates a potential difference across the electrode,which correlates with the pH value of the solution.
The ORPanalyzer measures the potential iference between a platinum electrode and a reference electrode.This potential reflects the redox capacity of the solution.
