SLDL5100 Series – SoltaFMScan FMCW Radar Level Meter
The SLDL5100 series is a high-performance frequency-modulated continuous wave (FMCW) radar level meter, specifically designed for continuous level monitoring of solid materials in various industrial environments. It integrates advanced radar technology with user-friendly features to deliver accurate and reliable measurements even under challenging process conditions.
Working Principle
The device operates on FMCW technology. It transmits a linearly frequency-modulated signal (sweep) and measures the frequency difference (Δf) between the transmitted and received signals to calculate the distance to the material surface. The SLDL5180 series operates at 78–80 GHz, while the SLDL5190 series uses an ultra-high frequency range of 120–128 GHz.
