Product Overview
SoltaScan&C band Rod-type radar level meter can penetrate foam and deposited condensate for measurement, so it is suitable for harsh process conditions. No matter how steam, mixed gas, pressure and temperature change, it can reliably measure the level of different media.
Pulse radar working principle: It adopts the microwave pulse measurement method and can work normally within the industrial frequency band. The 6.3GHz low-frequency radar level meter has low beam energy and can be installed in various metal and non-metal containers or pipes to perform non-contact continuous measurement of the level of liquids, slurries and granular materials. It is suitable for places with large changes in dust, humidity and pressure, and the presence of inert gas and steam.
The integrated sealed antenna radar level antenna emits narrow microwave pulses and transmits them downward through the antenna. After the microwave contacts the surface of the measured medium, it is reflected back and received by the antenna system again, and the signal is transmitted to the electronic circuit part to automatically convert it into a level signal (because the microwave propagation speed is extremely fast, the time taken for the electromagnetic wave to reach the target and return to the receiver through reflection is almost instantaneous).

When installing, pay attention to the distance between the instrument and the container wall.
If you cannot comply with this distance, you should suppress the fault signal once during commissioning. This is especially suitable when there are deposits on the container wall. In this case, it is recommended to repeat the fault signal suppression with the existing deposits at a later time.
