1. Overview

The SLDL5250 Series SoltaSmart Split-Type Radar Level Gauge/Level Difference Gauge/Open Channel Flow Meter is a high-performance industrial measuring instrument independently developed by SOLIDAT, integrating advanced Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave (FMCW) technology and proprietary SoltaSmart echo processing algorithm.Designed for the diverse measurement needs of modern industrial production, the product supports single-probe measurement of liquid level, distance and open channel flow, as well as dual-probe high-precision level difference measurement, and is widely applicable to solid and liquid medium measurement in various industrial fields. 2. Working Principle

Based on the mature FMCW (Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave) working principle, the SLDL5250 series instrument transmits a linear frequency-modulated continuous wave signal that sweeps stably within the working frequency band. When the signal encounters the measured medium surface (solid/liquid) or channel boundary, it is reflected to form a reflected wave.

The instrument's high-speed processing module real-time compares the frequency difference △f between the original transmitted wave and the reflected wave, and converts the frequency difference into a precise distance value through professional algorithm calculation. According to the actual application configuration, the measured data is further converted into liquid level, level difference or open channel flow data that meets industrial application standards, and is output through multiple signal channels for on-site display and remote control system access.

Single-probe configuration: Realizes accurate measurement of medium distance, liquid level height and open channel flow rate/flow volume

Dual-probe configuration: Achieves high-precision measurement of level difference and average level value between two measuring points
