When the magnetic level transmitter is working, the circuit part of the sensor excites a pulse current on the waveguide wire. When the current propagates along the waveguide wire, it generates a pulse current magnetic field around the waveguide wire. The sensor rod of the magnetic level transmitter is equipped with a float, which can move up and down along the measuring rod as the liquid level changes. Inside the float, there is a set of permanent magnetic rings. When the pulse current magnetic field meets the magnetic ring magnetic field generated by the float, the magnetic field around the float changes, causing the waveguide wire made of magnetostrictive material to generate a torsional wave pulse at the position where the float is located, which is at a fixed speed, It is transmitted back along the waveguide wire and detected by the circuit. Determine the position of the float, i.e. the position of the liquid level, by measuring the time difference between the pulse current and the torsional wave.
