Both media are mixtures of liquid and solid. At normal temperature and pressure, the viscous material in the tank easily leads to the precipitation of calcium carbonate.
The aqueous solution of calcium hydroxide is usually called lime water. When the amount is large, it will form lime slurry or lime milk. These media are alkaline. The calcium carbonate solution is a mixed system of water, calcium carbonate and acidic dispersant.
