Sewage Treatment Systems Rely On Radar Level Gauges To Ensure Normal Operation

Aug 13, 2024|

When tap water is used, sewage is also generated. Whether in daily life or work, sewage is generated almost all the time. This sewage is transported to the sewage treatment plant through different channels, where it can be reused as reclaimed water after treatment. In the process of sewage treatment level measurement, are level measurement tools such as sewage radar level meters used?

Radar level measurement for wastewater treatment

Sewage treatment includes two main systems: sewage collection system and sewage treatment system. The sewage collection system transports domestic and industrial sewage to the treatment plant by gravity. In this process, pump stations and sump wells collect sewage. The normal operation of these facilities depends on sewage treatment level measurement tools, so sewage radar level meters play an important role in it.

In the sewage treatment system, there are three key containers: oxidation ditch, aeration tank and outlet tank. If the water level of these containers is not properly controlled, it may cause overflow, which will cause secondary pollution and shutdown problems. Therefore, the sewage tank level gauge control of the sewage treatment system is particularly critical.

As environmental protection issues are increasingly valued, the role of sewage treatment level measurement control in sewage treatment has become more important. Sewage radar level meter has become the mainstream choice in the market due to its advanced technology and strong adaptability. Although other level measurement methods are also feasible, the position of radar level meter in the sewage treatment industry remains irreplaceable.
