Installation Method And Precautions Of Non Contact Radar Level Transmitter

Jul 07, 2023|

Installing a non contact radar level transmitter requires certain skills and experience. You must read the product manual carefully, or consult a professional in detail before starting the installation. The following are the installation methods and precautions for the radar level transmitter:

Determine the installation location: When choosing the installation location, factors such as the liquid level to be measured by the liquid level gauge, the characteristics of the liquid, and the installation environment need to be considered. Generally speaking, the radar level gauge should be installed above the liquid and at a distance to avoid the liquid level gauge from being impacted and soaked by the liquid.

Determine the size of the bracket: According to the installation location and the size of the liquid level gauge, select a suitable bracket and fix the bracket on the ground.

Install the liquid level gauge: Install the non contact radar level transmitter on the bracket, adjust the position of the liquid level gauge so that it is aligned with the liquid level to be measured, and fix the liquid level gauge.

Calibration: After the installation is complete, the radar level gauge needs to be calibrated to ensure its measurement accuracy. The calibration method is to place some markers around the liquid level gauge, then measure the distance and angle between the markers, compare with the standard value, adjust the position and angle of the liquid level gauge until its measurement accuracy meets the requirements.

Precautions:

Before installing the liquid level gauge, it is necessary to check whether the shell of the liquid level gauge is damaged or deformed. If it is damaged or deformed, the liquid level gauge should be replaced.

During the installation process, it is necessary to avoid installing the liquid level gauge in an environment with vibration or electromagnetic interference, so as to avoid damage to the radar level gauge.

When calibrating the liquid level gauge, it is necessary to use standard instruments for calibration to ensure the accuracy of the radar level gauge.

During daily use, it is necessary to regularly check whether the shell, sensor and display of the non contact radar level transmitter are damaged. If there is damage, it needs to be replaced and repaired in time.
