Choose One Of Three Installations: Pipeline, Immersion, Or External Clamp-on Installation To Meet Slurry Density Meter Sensors For Different Needs
Jan 12, 2024| SLDA2100 Slurry density meter sensor has three sensor installation methods according to needs. They are as follows:
1. Pipeline installation
2.Immersive installation
3. External clip-on installation.

Pipeline Slurry Density Meter Sensor
Pipe-type sensors should be installed on horizontal pipes to prevent impurities at the bottom of the pipe and air bubbles at the top from covering the surface of the Slurry density meter sensor (as shown in the figure below). For stable and accurate measurement, it is recommended that the measurement point has 4D upstream and 2D downstream straight pipe sections. For maintenance, it is recommended to install a BYPASS pipeline and prepare a DRAIN LINE for sample collection and sensor cleaning.

Immersion Slurry Density Meter Sensor
Most immersed sensors are installed in sedimentation tanks or sludge mixing tanks to measure the concentration of sludge or sludge mixture. In order to avoid wall mud adhesion during installation, try to ensure a distance of more than 15cm between the sensor and the sensor. It is recommended to clean the Slurry density meter sensor regularly or specifically.

External clip-on slurry density meter sensor
The characteristics of the external clamp-on sensor make it easier for users to install or move the sensor. Compared with the normal installation method, it does not require cutting off the pipeline, welding the flange to connect the new pipe, etc.
To install this Slurry density meter sensor on the pipeline, several mechanical parts are required (as shown in the picture below). Before installing the sensor, check the quantity of each part according to the number.
