When using radar type level meters, there are several additional radar level meter precautions:
1.The measurement range starts from the point where the beam contacts the tank bottom. However, in some special cases, such as when the tank bottom is concave or conical, it may not be possible to measure levels below that point.
2.If the dielectric constant of the medium is low, the tank bottom may become visible at low levels. To ensure measurement accuracy, it is recommended to set the zero point at a lower height of the liquid.
3.Theoretically, the antenna position can be measured, but considering the effects of corrosion and adhesion, the measurement should maintain a distance of 100 mm from the antenna.
4.For overflow protection, a safety distance can be set and connected to the blind zone.
